ANC in Gauteng has resolved to charge Masina for putting the party into disrepute.
The Ekurhuleni regional chairman of the ANC will face charges for rejecting a higher structure and putting the organization into disrepute, according to the ANC Gauteng Provincial Executive Committee (PEC).
Despite the motion of no confidence’s success, Campbell was re-elected as chairwoman of Ekurhuleni on Tuesday.
The motion of no confidence was a result of unsuccessful negotiations with the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF).
The two parties had been discussing a power-sharing agreement for the province’s metros.
