A video of a man running into a bush at a game reserve in Kwa Zulu-Natal after coming across an elephant has sent shockwaves on social media.
After a tense encounter with an elephant bull at the weekend in the Hluhluwe Game Reserve in northern KwaZulu-Natal, a guy leapt out of a car and rushed into the forest.
An elephant that appears to be furious approaches the white Toyota Camry in a social media video and a guy can be seen jumping out of the passenger side.

A family that lived nearby took pictures of the occurrence.

The incident occurred on a route connecting the Hilltop and Mpila areas of the reserve, according to Musa Mntambo, a spokeswoman for KZN Ezemvelo who spoke to TimesLive.
“I can confirm the incident occurred on a road inside the park. We caution people against getting out of their vehicles, no matter how tense the situation. If you find yourself in such a situation, do not jump out the car or venture into the bush. You could face far worse animals, such as a lion,” said Mntambo,
