The first season of Blood and Water became an instant hit with both local and international audiences on Netflix, with its nostalgic and relatable storyline. It is exciting to know that the second season could be dropping any minute now after the dramatic cliffhanger on the show’s finale.

What could be season 2’s storyline
The Netflix Original, Blood and Water tells the story of Puleng Khumalo (Ama Qamata), who spends much of her time in the first season working on the cold case of her older sister’s abduction at birth. Her investigation reveals that her missing sister is one of her friends from school, Fikile Bhele (played by Khosi Ngema). In the last episode, after a gripping twist in the plot, she ended up breaking the news of their relation to an unsuspecting Fikile.

We are very curious to see what will happen to the secret organisation that abducted Fikile at birth, as well as KB (Thabang Molaba) and Puleng’s relationship considering that KB’s father is involved in her sister’s abduction.
It will be interesting to see how the sisters’ relationship will be, now that the truth is out in the open. We most certainly can’t wait to see the twists and turns in the story on Season 2.
