Tessica Brown’s glue saga is final over! A Beverly Hills surgeon successfully removed all the glue.
Brown became a trending topic worldwide last week after she pleaded for help with a hair disaster so crazy you had to see it to believe it.
The American woman covered her hair in Gorilla Glue spray adhesive, which is used to bond materials such as paper, wood, and plastic together.
The 40-year-old’s hair problems started when she ran out of her Got2b Glued Blasting Freeze Spray – a product made for hair.
She decided to use Gorilla Glue’s heavy duty spray adhesive, thinking she could simply wash it off later.

Will Tessica Brown’s hair ever grow back?
After 15 failed attempts to wash the glue out of her hair – which was stuck in a slicked-back ponytail – she took to social media for help.
While many mocked Brown for making such a foolish mistake, women all over the world became invested in her story.
Would she have to shave off all her hair? Will her scalp be damaged? Will her hair ever grow again?

There were many questions but very few solutions – a trip to the hospital did not help the situation.
Thankfully, Dr. Michael Obeng came to her rescue.
The plastic surgeon was finally able to help Brown – even though she had already used superglue remover to help her cut off her ponytail.
It took him three hours to get all the glue out of her hair.
How did Dr. Obeng do it?
The Beverly Hills surgeon says he studied the ingredients of the product before coming up with a concoction that would break down the polyurethane in the glue.
He told TMZ that he first tested out his concoction on a dummy scalp.
Dr. Obeng used a mixture made up of medical grade adhesive remover, aloe vera, olive oil, and “a dash of acetone” to remove all the adhesive.
The procedure would have cost Brown $12,000 (around R180,000), but Dr. Obeng did it for free.

While Brown is relieved her ordeal is finally over, she says she regrets turning to social media for help. She also denied she was looking for attention.
“I never was going to take this to social media. The reason I took this to social media was because I didn’t know what else to do. And I know somebody out there could have told me something. I didn’t think for one second when I got up the next morning it was gonna be everywhere,” she told Entertainment Tonight.
We doubt she will be making that R180,000 mistake again…
