Forget the myth that the most expensive cars are more likely to be hijacked. Thosese cars are easier to recognise, come fitted with tracking devices and have parts that are difficult to sell.

The VW Polo remains the most hijacked vehicle in the country, with the Toyota Fortuner being the most targeted SUV for hijackers, followed closely by the Ford Ranger.
