While South Africans are sweating in the summer heat, Zozibini Tunzi is making snow angels in New York.
The Miss Universe has been living in the Big Apple since 2019 – the year she won the title.
Zozibini moved into a luxury apartment in Manhattan and has been living her best life in the concrete jungle ever since.
A snowstorm has been sweeping through the city, and Zozi couldn’t resist having a little fun in the snow.
“I just want to say, the most important part I want to report about this childish foolery you just watched is that I can’t feel my toes!” she wrote on Instagram.
Nomzamo Mbatha told Zozibini she was brave for going outside in the first place.
“And to think that snow storm is freeeezing, you’re brave mntase,” the actress commented.
Despite the COVID-19 restrictions limiting a lot of leisure activities, Zozibini is determined to enjoy herself.
She revealed that she dresses up and does her makeup even if she has nowhere to go.
“Sometimes we have to unlock “feeling myself” mode. #LazadaPH is one place I know I can always find things to make me feel confident. Today I challenge you to do the same. Wear what makes you feel confident and walk around the house like the Queen that you are,” she told her 2,7 million followers.
There is still no word on when the next Miss Universe pageant will take place.
Last year’s ceremony was cancelled due to the pandemic. Officials reportedly have plans to hold Miss Universe 2020 in the next few months with Miss Universe 2021 taking place later in the year.
Until then, our golden girl Zozibini will continue to enjoy the perks of being the reigning Miss Universe.
