A new urination incident at the men’s house of Eendrag allegedly at Stellenbosch University on Saturday, this is on the same day the NPA said it would prosecute expelled student Theuns du Toit.
In the early hours of Saturday morning, a fellow first-year white student was accused of urinating on the possessions of two black students.
While an inquiry is being conducted by the university’s office of student conduct, the accused student has been removed from the house.
According to Stellenbosch University, campus management was alerted to a student who was “severely inebriated” peeing in the early hours of Saturday morning.

In the last six months, there have been three incidents of this sort recorded on campus.
“The management of Stellenbosch University (SU) has reiterated its deep concern regarding the irresponsible use of alcohol on and around its campuses after learning of another urination incident involving a severely intoxicated student at a residence on the Stellenbosch Campus.” said University spokesperson Martin Viljoen.
Weekend Argus was informed by a trustworthy source that “The boy (culprit) supposedly decided to leave on his own accord from the res and that’s why the house father didn’t suspend him,”
Shortly after the incident, according to Weekend Argus, an emergency meeting was called.
