Flabba’s family have reportedly called for proceeds from the documentary his girlfriend has released to go to his children.
Sindisiwe Manqele, the girlfriend who was convicted of the rapper’s murder, has spoken about the documentary which will shed light on how she “accidentally” stabbed him.
In a recent interview, Sindisiwe revealed how tempers flew during one drunken night, over his jealousy which escalated into her stabbing the Skwatta Kamp artist.
Flabba was stabbed in the chest, and Sindisiwe was sentenced to 12-years in prison but was released in May after serving just half her prison sentence.
Now, Flabba’s family are accusing her of using his murder to benefit from financially. His family say they weren’t aware of a documentary as they were never informed, but they now want any profits from it to go to Flabba’s kids.
The documentary will reportedly include Sindisiwe’s statement that Nkululeko Habedi aka Flabba forgave her for stabbing him.
She claims Flabba told her before he died that he knew she didn’t mean to stab him.
“People will hopefully understand my story better when they watch the documentary.”
Speaking to City Press, Flabb’s brother, Tshepang said it was a shock to his family to find out that Sindisiwe was releasing a documentary.
“We were not approached about any documentary, we were never informed. We found out about it, the same way everyone else did, on Mac G’s podcast. My family have not been in contact with her since her release on parole.
But if they want to use Nkululeko’s name they must make sure that the money goes to his children and then we will pay attention to them.
If Sindisiwe is going to make a lot of money from my brother’s name, she must not forget about his children.”
