SABC News reports that Jacob “Joel” Moalusi, the new owner, claims to have served Patricia with an eviction notice last month, giving them 31 days to leave the property.
According to Moalusi, he paid R350 000 to the granddaughter Kedibone for the three-room home.
He claims to have followed all legal procedures and to have provided an eviction order to SABC News.
Patricia, though, is adamant that the house actually belonged to the grandmother and was sold by her other granddaughter.
“We have nowhere else to go to. I am the only one who has been caring for our granny. She has no children. There is no one that I can call, I am the only one who has to rescue this thing.” said Patricia
