South African social media users are up in arms after Dua Lipa was spotted with another man, with many questioning what about Trevor Noah?
The British singer/songwriter shared some snaps of her recent trip to New York with what looks like a group of friends.
However, one picture in particular sparked a local public outcry, the singer sharing a slice of pizza with another man.
The picture received a number of comments from South African social media users who wanted to know how the “One Kiss Is All It Takes” hitmaker’s could play their homeboy, Trevor Noah.
“Trevor can’t fight but we’ll fight for him. Why are you doing this to our boy?”
“I hope he’s your brother because we can’t let you do this to our brother. We have brooms that are faster than private jets.”
“We were just about to call you Dipuo makoti and you do this? What about Trevor?”
Dua Lipa and Trevor Noah sparked dating rumours after the pair were spotted sharing a kiss after dinner.
Trevor who recently parted ways with his long-term girlfriend Minka Kelly, has not commented on the rumours he’s dating Dua Lipa.
A source reportedly told People USA that the two stars are just friends and enjoyed a dinner while the singer was in New York City.
But contrasting feedback from Dua Lipa’s friends who shared with the Daily Mail that the pop star thinks there’s amazing chemistry between her and the South African comedian.
“She appreciates how open and honest he’s been with her just about things going on in his life, and what he’s looking for in a relationship. They haven’t made specific plans to hang out again yet but Dua would absolutely be open to that.
She hopes to spend more time together and is open to seeing where things go.”
