It was recently reported by Sunday World that Mercantile Bank sold actress Sophie Ndaba’s lush Johannesburg home after she failed to service her bond.
It was further reported that Ndaba failed to pay the bank over R1-million shortfall from the proceeds of the sale of her home.
An unimpressed Sophie took to social media to address the reports, dragging the journalist who wrote the article.
“Dear Sunday World and your stupid stupid journalist Sphe who yesterday wrote that my house was sold by my bank.
“Darling let me give you education 101. When the bank sells your house it’s called an auction, I sold my house through CF property agents. The shortfall it’s between me and Mercantile Bank.”
She adds that this is a fight she is fighting privately. “It doesn’t involve you.”
Sophie also called out the journalist for alleging that she is battling with her health.
“Number 2, I’m not ailing. Do I look like an ailing person? Look at me, darling.
“Stop messing with my business, stop messing with my family, stop messing with my future. I’m rewriting my future, and I don’t need you helping me with your stupidity.”
