Pitso Mosimane has been unveiled as the head coach of Saudi Arabian side Al Ahli.
The club announced the appointment of Pitso Mosimane in the early hours of Sunday Morning.
In June this year, Pitso Mosimane parted ways with Egyptian giants Al Ahly after leading them to two Champions League titles.
The decision to join Al Ahli comes as a shock to football fans as Mosimane had announced that he would be taking a break from coaching at the highest level.
“Sometimes you move to another continent or probably you step back and take a rest. Big coaches like Ancelotti and Pep Guardiola have done that.
“Zidane has won three champions leagues and he is not coaching. So I’m happy to take a break, and I’m happy to wake up at 11 am and I’m happy that I am not accountable to anybody at this point in time,” he told Kaya Biz with Gugulethu Mfuphi.
Al Ahli competes in the second division of the Saudi Professional League.
Welcome, Coach! 💚🤍
