Joining 959 Breakfast with Dineo Ranaka and Sol Phenduka is Gomora actor Ntobeko Sishi.
Ntobeko Sishi is popular for playing Ntokozo Dlamini on the Mzansi Magic telenovela.
Speaking about his childhood, the actor says his mother passed away when he was six years old.
“My mom passed away when I was six and after that, I had this very bad relationship with my father, and things kind of fell apart.”
Ntobeko was taken in by his aunt and uncle. He says they did everything they could to provide a good life for him.
“My aunt and my uncle did everything that they could so I can be who I am today.
“There was a time when I didn’t know if I would be in school because I didn’t have a report card or a birth certificate. They fought for me, they really did. I ended up at the best University on this continent.”
One of Sishi’s other passions is music. As he gears up to drop a new EP, he says he writes about the things he goes through.
“A lot of the stuff I write about is stuff that I have been through. Break ups, being in love, falling out of love. I dealt with some mental health stuff when I was younger. I’m honest about some of the feelings I’ve felt in my loneliness.”
