If you’re struggling to achieve your summer body goals. Don’t worry, you still have time to tone up and make some real changes while you’re on a break, or even start making progress next year. Here are a few tips to help you get the body you’re looking for:
Keeping track of your exercise will help you with your summer body goals. It will put you in a better position to boost it. Develop a simple exercise programme, make sure you have exercises that target the strength of all the main muscles.

What are you putting in your body?
The time of day you consume food plays a very big part in how successful weight loss journey. Did you know that people who have their largest meals early in the day lose more weight than people who eat the same amount of calories, most of them later in the day. So keep your dinners light and try digging in for lunch at midday or in the early afternoon.

Remember to Hydrate
Water is a key component of summer experience in more ways than you might imagine. Water accounts for about 70% of the human body, making it an integral fluid. Water drives physiological processes such as digestion and regulates the internal temperature of our body by perspiration. Warmer summer temperatures make our bodies work harder to remain cool, resulting in an increased lack of hydration. Drink at least 2.5 litres a day to avoid excess fluid loss. Increase this number by 250-500ml with each additional hour of physical activity.

Don’t forget to stretch out your body
The power of stretching is highly underestimated and frequently overlooked. As we age, the elasticity of our muscles is diminished and accelerated by sports that can overuse and overwork muscles by repetitive motion. After your workout, devote about five minutes to static stretching, making sure you keep each stretch for about 30 seconds.
