Leeroy Sidambe issues a statement amid ongoing reports that he left his wife for Mihlali Ndamase.
Leeroy begins by saying that before anything else, he is a father whose sole aim is to protect and provide for his two beautiful children.
“I have consistently shielded them from this period of change in our lives. They are the only reason I sought to have a quiet seperation from my estranged wife, and the respect that I have for both our families.”
Sidambe notes that earlier this year, after months of trying to make things work, he took steps toward a separation from his marriage and marital home – whilst still maintaining access to his children.
“According to my understanding and conveyed by my lawyers, this meant that my estranged wife and I were free to live our lives as we saw fit. Free to move on in whatever manner we chose, as single individuals…”
The businessman says in this time he met a woman(Mihlali), whom he fell in love with and it has been heartbreaking to see her being dragged on social media for loving him loudly and boldly.
“The constant harrassment she receives, instigated by my estranged wife’s associates, is unbearable and quite frankly not safe for anyone’s mental wellbeing.”
He says that Mihlali does not deserve this hateful intrusion upon her life and work and cannot turn a blind eye to the effect the cyberbullying has had on her.
“The contant defaming of those who work in the public space, has to STOP! In my view cyber bullies are spineless and hateful people, who hide behind a keyboard and strip others of their success with untruths coated as facts.”
