Shudufhadzo Musida has been chosen to represent the Global Surgery Foundation as a goodwill ambassador.
The mental health advocate Miss SA 2020 shared her delight about the ambassador deal with the foundation on social media.
With a focus on philosophy, economics, politics, and international relations, Shudufhadzo has earned a Degree in Social Sciences.
She founded and serves as chairperson of her own Foundation while simultaneously finishing her education.

Shudufhazdo is a strong supporter of mental health and has had numerous opportunities to speak on international stages about it.
“I am incredibly honoured to be part of an esteemed panel, which will be highlighting the impact of Covid-19 on women and girls’ mental health, while also looking at the most promising strategies, and actions for overcoming gender inequality and discrimination. The panel will further discuss how the empowerment of women and girls accelerates Sustainable Development Goal 5 and recovery from Covid-19,” she wrote.
“I am so happy to have worked on this with the Permanent Mission of South Africa to the United Nations and the Netherlands to shine a light on the mental health impact on minorities and marginalised groups; women and children.” she wrote.
