The African Champions Banyana Banyana have landed.
Numerous supporters gather at the OR Tambo International Airport today as they welcome the arrival of Banyana Banyana, champions of the 2022 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
On Tuesday morning, the squad arrived at the airport and was welcomed with a formal ceremony.
Several speakers will be honouring the women as part of the festivities, including representatives from the sports ministry, Safa, and Sasol.
On Saturday, the team defeated the tournament’s host nation, Morocco, by a score of 2-1.
