Somizi comes out as pansexual, the megastar was on 959 Breakfast with Dineo Ranaka and Sol Phenduka on Thursday morning.
Speaking to Kaya 959, Somizi opens up about his forthcoming clothing brand for kids, his love life, and going broke a couple of years back.
On his clothing brand
Last year Somizi announced that he’ll be launching his kid’s brand Sompire.
“The range is for kids between the ages of 2 – 12. It’s launching this September at the mall of Africa then Limpopo and Durban,” he tells 959 Breakfast.
Somizi comes out as pansexual
Speaking about his love life, the Idols SA judge revealed that he is pansexual.
“I think I’m pansexual – I’m attracted to whoever, I’m attracted to at the time. It’s about the vibes and the chemistry I’m feeling at the time. I don’t want to be boxed and the older you get the more you find yourself,” he said.
On falling off and rising again
Somizi, whose career spans 44 years attributes his success to his work ethic.
On falling off some years ago, he said the experience made him a better person.
“My dark periods are natural and are tests. I’m glad that they happened because every time it happens I come out better.
He says he never had a big head but was reckless with money. “There was a time when I had six cars but I lived in a two-bedroom house.”
