In his eulogy to his daughter, Busi Lurayi‘s father Freddie Mokoena revealed that he is “weak but will not fall.”
The nation has been mourning the passing of Busi Lurayi following her untimely passing on Sunday, 10 July 2022.
Speaking at her daughter’s funeral yesterday Freddie Mokoena said he’s “learned so many things from Busi.”
Yesterday the thespian was laid to rest in Johannesburg.
Freddie expressed gratitude to Busy’s mother for allowing him to raise their daughter. “I thank you for giving me that opportunity to live my life with Busisiwe.”
Holding back his tears, Freddie said he hates that he “had to see my daughter lying down but she knows that if I had the time, I would be able to do something for her.
“I know that where she is she is at peace. She will soon find out but she is at peace with whatever happened that day.”
Mokoena says the fact that Busi was in this industry and “was able to gather you guys around shows that God actually brought her for us.”
At the end of his eulogy, he said that “life sucks I’m telling you. But unfortunately, it found a match, and Busi is not going to take it lying down.
“The fact that they have taken her away from me, she will come back. I’m weak but I will walk. I’ll walk the long way with him,” he expressed.
Freddie Mokoena thanks the public for showing their family support in this difficult time in their lives.
