Real Housewives of Durban star Jojo Robinson has been in hospital since the beginning of the week after going under the knife.
Following a recent hospital visit from her co-star and friend Nonku Williams, fans of #RHODurban expressed their concern over Jojo Robinson’s health.
Taking to Instagram, Jojo gave her fans an update on her health through a series of Instagram stories.
She says “the pain is quite bad, I’m not going to lie. But you manage it as long as you take your painkillers. Getting up and down is very difficult.”
Jojo did an “abdominoplasty with lipo all around with a floating belly button.”
She explains: “So basically, what it means is that they lift open your whole stomach and they sow the muscles,”
After giving birth to her child, her muscles did not come back together. “They stayed open in the middle,” she adds.
“What they did in the surgery is pull her muscles together so that my stomach can be flat and tight together.”
They lipo the fat out and then “I had a little bit of loose skin which I could hide very well. They took out 7 and a half centimeters of skin. So it will affect the bottom of my tattoo.”
As a result, her belly button will be lower.
“It’ll be 7 and a half centimeters lower. I did this to myself so I can’t even complain,” she added.
She says she’ll record another video a bit later to explain what she had.
