Has the duo Black Motion made up of Thabo “Smol” Mabogwane and Bongani “Murdahbongz” Mohosan really split?
On Tuesday Prince Kaybee raised eyebrows when he expressed his sorrow towards the musical duo Black Motion being ‘no more’. The record producer claims that he is hurt that the couple is no longer together.
His tweet stunned many social media users who initially mistook it for a reference to death before realizing what he was saying.
A few months ago, Murdah Bongz and Thabo of Black Motion denied reports that they were breaking up, but they later admitted that they had begun their separate careers.
But lately, they’ve been performing at events by themselves which led to Kaybee being so upset.
Black Motion put out a statement to defuse this situation.

I think as a fellow artist, you could of let them share those news for themselves (if they are true) or encouraged them to drop a statement.
Imagine if people dropping things about your career when you’re not ready. Smh pic.twitter.com/9qNXHf5cib

Black Motion denied the rumours of their split yet again on social media.
The took to Instagram to simply say “The music goes on. Don’t be fooled” and caption the post saying “Rumour mongering”.
Nota blames Zodwa wa Bantu and DJ Zinhle for the duo’s split.
Controversial record producer and social commentator Nota Baloyi weighed in on the news of Black Motion’s split in a series of tweets.
I blame Zodwa Wabantu for breaking up Black Motion… Zodwa broke a spell that was put on the group when she slept with the MOTION of the group & then went on a Podcast tour to brag about it. That’s when the woman DJ decided that she wanted all the BLACK to herself. Fear them!💔🤬

We can’t allow toxic black women to take Black Motion from us… Don’t worry about it too much Kabelo, we just need a reunion show for Christmas & we’ll have it come hell or high water. As black men, we need to prove that no woman formed against us can come between us!✊🏿 https://t.co/iBKIjp4WKb

“Black women have been possessed by the white man devil… He has brainwashed them, made them lose their morals & he is sexually exploiting them at scale so that white girls don’t grow up as sex slaves, unlike black girls who consider it an option that should be decriminalised. Hell!”
