Lerato Kganyago reacts to speculation that she doesn’t own the luxury hotel she reportedly received as a Valentine’s Day gift.
The Hillel Villa and Spa in Northcliff, Johannesburg was a gift from Lerato’s businessman husband, Thami Ndlela.
However, after an online twar between Lerato and celebrity blogger Musa Khawula escalated, rumours over the ownership of the hotel is doing the rounds.
Lerato and Musa publicly butted heads in recent weeks, with the media personality threatening to end the controversial blogger’s career for his habit of spreading false news via Twitter.
It seems Musa struck a nerve about Lerato’s hotel and she lashed out saying she’s going to have the last laugh.
With people questioning whether the grand Valentine’s Day gesture was just a big publicity stunt, Lerato hit back.
“Watch Black Twitter excited over cheap journalism. Wonder what will they say when they find out the actual truth. Hope they keep the same energy…”

The hotel is said to be owned by Ndlela and two other businessmen who are reportedly just silent partners.
Lerato said she wished people would get their facts straight before believing everything they see on the social streets.
“I got myself that hotel. The renovations were a gift from my husband. Don’t take away my shine with negatives from gossip papers. I own that hotel. The rest shouldn’t even be mentioned.”
Lerato’s husband made headlines last month for reportedly owing over R225 000 to Steyn City.
