In the upcoming episode of Living the Dream with Somizi, his daughter Bahumi prepares to celebrate her 28th birthday. However, her excitement turns to disappointment when she learns that her father will miss the special occasion.
Even though Somizi gave her money, Bahumi still feels that “it’s not enough to make up for lost time.”
“Why can’t you just be around? Just come. Spend my birthday with me, let’s have dinner,” she expressed.
While she appreciates the financial gesture, she feels it’s “just a very quick way of dealing with her,” and that’s not how she wants to be treated. She adds, “I think that’s why it’s hard for me to wholeheartedly accept this money. It’s nice, and I appreciate it, but I wish I had more. And even that ‘more’—I don’t think it’s too much to ask for—is just… I really want you, bro.”
In episode one of Living The Dream with Somizi Bahumi admitted she was hurt at the beginning of Somizi and Mohale’s relationship because “her father kind of shut her out and wasn’t really explaining anything to her,” not that he” owed her an explanation” but just keep her in the loop.
She said that finding out that her dad was “dating someone who is younger than her” and “bringing him into his life in a way that he hasn’t brought me into his life made me feel unwanted.”
Bahumi has sought healing and trauma mending and hopes her dad will jump on board.
