Big Zulu is ecstatic about winning a PanSALB Award.
The Pan South African Language Board (PanSALB) Multilingualism Awards ceremony was held at the Galleria conference and events, Sandton in Johannesburg.
Siyabonga Nene, better known by his stage name Big Zulu, is a rapper, composer, and actor from South Africa. After releasing the single “Donsa Nkabi” in 2016, he shot to fame.
In 2015, Zulu got a record deal with Universal Music, and his debut album, Ushun Wenkabi & Ungqongqoshe Wongqongqoshe, was released.

Th Awards honour incredible individuals in categories of Education, Language and Literature, Language Activist Award, Media, Youth, Government or Public Sector, Technology and Business, Music, Translation and Interpretation.
“Thank you so much we came back with the award this is the way to heal or sing in traditional language isiZulu thank you very much, without you we would not have won thank you so much to all races. Thank you so much,” wrote Zulu.
