We’re all familiar with the phrase that “You can take the boy out the hood but you can’t take the hood out the boy”
Simply put there are just those little things that you take with you from your kasi regardless of where life may take you.
We all know that each kasi has its own rhythm and flavour, that is authentic to it.
It’s the lingo, the vibe, and the people that help to fine-tune the things that help define the township.
The little things that we do, say, or even wear clearly indicate that we are kasi natives.
What are people saying on social media:
Ekasi we can chill and chat with a person for the whole day without knowing their name. We will call you "my bra" the whole day 😂😂😂#CantTakeKasiOutOfMe
