Julius Malema calls for the Budget Vote to be delivered by the Deputy President on Thursday, 09 June and not President Cyril Ramaphosa.
This comes after the EFF Presser on Tuesday, where footage of the 2020 farm robbery on Ramaphosa’s Limpopo property was shared with the public.
During the conference the Commander-In-Chief of the Economic Freedom Fighters called for Ramaphosa to step aside with immediate effect.
Failing to do so will result in total anarchy, with the EFF planning to disrupt Parliament, throwing questions about the robbery at Ramaphosa.
“We do not rule out a possibility of a shut down. EFF demands that the President must step aside. We don’t want the President to address the budget on Thursday, the budget must be addressed by the Deputy President. Because the President must be at the police station explaining himself.”

President Ramaphosa is facing a series of charges following Arthur Fraser’s accusations that there was a cover-up of the $4 million robbery in February 2020.
He accuses the President of bribery, kidnapping and extortion and claims the money was not from the sale of cattle and livestock like Ramaphosa suggests.
In the video footage shared by the EFF, the men who were accused of stealing the money, along with a domestic worker can be seen bound.
It is alleged that Ramaphosa’s security interrogated and tortured them under the President’s instructions.
The EFF says if Ramaphosa does not step aside to allow open and transparent investigations to take place, the EFF will mobilise many sectors of society to stop recognising him as President.
“We will not permit him to perform any Presidential functions.”
