With friends like these who needs enemies hey? That’s probably what Somizi is thinking after his chommie Vusi Nova shared that estranged hubby may still be tugging on his heart.
In the latest episode of Living The Dream with Somizi, the singer thought it was peculiar that Somizi still has Mohale’s number saved as “husband”.
Vusi Nova and his bestie Somizi got into a discussion as to why Mohale is still being referred to as “husband”.
“You’re still in love!” Nova exclaimed after Somizi apparently received a video-call from Mohale.
In his defence, Somizi said, “It doesn’t matter to me, because I don’t go looking for his number. I have never spoken to this person since day one of everything,” he continued.
He was referring to the day news that Mohale had alleged his was abused by Somizi in their marriage was leaked.
The video-call came through on 01 January, at 00h13, while Somizi was busy taking a SnapChat.
That’s when his friends noticed “Husband” (Mohale) was calling the TV personality and Idols SA judge.
Somizi shared that he rejected the call saying, “Never, not today.”
Vusi Nova has been vocal about Somizi and Mohale’s relationship, and spoke out previously about not liking Mohale from the start.
“Did I like Mohale? No. I only tolerated him because Somizi loved him so much and that love he never got back.”
Somizi’s friends shouted at him for still having Mohale’s number saved in a term of endearment and suggested that he change this to let go of their marriage.
