Vho-Mukondeleli, a popular Muvhango character, is leaving the SABC 2 soapie after decades on the show.
Vho-Mukondeleli, performed by award-winning Elsie Rasalanavho, has been on life support since suffering a brain injury.
On the sad episode of her exit, her life support was turned off, signalling her departure, and social media fans had various emotions after watching a character they had grown to love exiting the show.

Viewers of Muvhango and Vho-Mukondeleli were treated to an emotional sequence in which their favourite actress exited the show.
Elsie Rasalanavho, recently shared how hard her journey was on the popular soapie in an interview with Daily Sun upon the soapie’s 25 anniversary. She recalled how she was juggling both her acting and teaching career.
“My journey wasn’t easy because I was a teacher, I had to teach children and on the weekend’s action. On Friday afternoons I would take a bus to Joburg, it was hectic because when I went back on Sunday, I had to go to school on Monday, but somehow I managed,” she Rasalanavho.
