Zakes Bantwini (41), real name Zakhele Madida has shared his adventures in New York on social media.
Bantwini was spotted rubbing shoulders with American rapper, record producer, singer, songwriter, and entrepreneur Pharrell Williams.
Zakes posted several classy images, and the caption indicated that they met at a Global Citizen event, he wrote “With music, we can create change. Big shout out to my brother in music @pharrell & @glblctzn”
Bantwini has also showcased how he is taking his music to the world in a series of posts.

The Osama hitmaker recently shared an event after movie of the time he performed in Madrid, Spain. The video gave his followers a glimpse of his musical adventure in Europe.

Over the years, his career has been a marvel to watch. Zakes went on to Natal Technikon (Durban University of Technology) to study Light Music and got a national certificate.
He founded Mayonie Productions in 2004 and is recognized for songs including Bum Bum, Wasting My Time, and Clap Your Hands. In 2008, Zakes released his debut album, The Good Life.
He released the album Love, Light, and Music two years later. In 2020 he had been accepted into the prestigious Harvard University Business School in the United States to study entertainment, music, and sports business.
