Why is it that most parents tend to be harder on their firstborns? Could it be that firstborns are guinea pigs parents practice with so that by the time the second or the third born arrives they are already experienced? Or could it just be the expectations parents have for the first child?

A listener shares: “The reason why most parents are so hard on the firstborn is that if they get the firstborn right, all the other. kids will follow suit.
