While many people said their final goodbyes to Gospel legend Deborah Fraser on Saturday, current reports claim that she was not buried because of flooding in KwaZulu-Durban Natal’s over the weekend.
Due to excessive rains and flooding in KwaZulu-Natal which caused havoc at local cemeteries, Deborah Fraser’s burial has been postponed.
Fraser, whose funeral service was held on Saturday, May 21, will instead be buried on Tuesday, May 24.

On Saturday, family, friends, and industry colleagues gathered at The Station Venue in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, to say their goodbyes to the legendary gospel artist.
Due to the strong rains in the province this past weekend, the family’s spokeswoman Busi Shibodze confirmed to IOL News that the burial service could not be held.
“I can confirm that we were not able to continue with the burial on Saturday, due to the heavy floods, so therefore, the burial has been postponed to Tuesday, (May 24),” said Shibodze.
Fraser was well known for her gospel hits Hamba we Sathane and Dila nabo Nkosi.
