In Friday’s episode of The Real Housewives of Durban, Nonku and Thobile Makhumalo hung out to get to know each other on a personal level.
Nonku says she finds Makhumalo very interesting. She asked her how she manages to be happy in a polygamous marriage as she (Nonku) is very jealous in relationships.
“You are allowed to call him your husband because now you are talking to MaKhumalo on a personal level. So you cannot bring the sister wives in. I would like to believe that in your space you should feel like the only one”, she explains.
“What if you want to spend time with him the whole day?” Asked a curious Nonku.
“Before he goes to bed he would have seen all of us,” shared Thobile.
Responding to Nonku’s question about Mseleku bringing in another wife, Thobile said: “He knows that if he brings in someone else then he has to level up.”
Speaking recently about why she joined the reality television show, Thobile said she wants Mzansi to know her as an individual.
“People know me from Uthando Nes’thembu, and they don’t get to understand Thobile as an individual. And whenever you go around, people cannot just see you as yourself, but they have to bring in the family you’re married into because that’s how they know you.
“Which is not a bad thing and it’s something that I don’t have a problem with – but I have a life outside the whole family,” she shared in part.
