Meikayla Moore is a Liverpool defender who didn’t have the best of games while representing New Zealand in the ‘She Believes Cup’ this past weekend.
She scored a hat-trick of own-goals in just 35 minutes before being subbed-off.
As with many footballers, this might dent her confidence for some time. Think about how we are humans struggle to forgive ourselves.
“How long do you take to bounce back from mistakes? Are you the kind of person who dwells on mistakes, no matter how big or small they are, or are you the kind of person who quickly forgives themselves and moves on?” Ask Thomas and Skhumba In The Morning show.
One listener shares, “I’m so hard on myself on the day I’ll be myself up but when the sun rises I’ll forgive myself.”
Our newsreader Mbali says crying helps her feel better. “I can mess up a sentence and the who morning I’m just like I could’ve done better. I cry a lot about everything, helps me feel better.”
A listener, who’s been hard on herself over the years says therapy has helped her a lot.
