American rapper Snoop Dogg has been sued for alleged sexual assault. The news comes ahead of his Superbowl half-time performance on Sunday.
An unnamed woman has come forward accusing the rapper of sexual assault and battery after one of his concerts in 2013.
Working as an on-stage dancer on his tour at the time, she is accusing both Snoop Dogg and his associate Donald Campell of sexual assault.
Identified as Jane Doe in the civil lawsuit the woman accuses Snoop Dogg of forcing her to perform oral sex on him after entering a bathroom she was using.
Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., known professionally as Snoop Dogg has since responded to the claims seemingly calling the woman a gold digger.
“Gold digger season is here. Be careful nefews, keep your guard up. And keep your circle small.”

In her lawsuit, Jane Doe has allegedly asked for a $10 million settlement.
She says she felt humiliated, and panicked after the incident because of the rapper’s influence in the music industry.
Afraid he would use his power to end her career if she spoke out previously.
There hasn’t been an official response from Snoop Dogg’s legal team.
