The Department of Labour has disconnected the electricity at Tholimfundo Primary School.
This after Kaya News reported on the unsafe learning conditions at the unfinished school.
Occupational Safety and Health inspectors visited the school in Protea Glen, Extension 3 Soweto yesterday.
As reported by Kaya News, the mobile classrooms have exposed electrical wires.
Electrical connections in some of the containers hang loosely posing a risk to both the learners and the teachers.
Issuing Kaya News with a report, the department corroborated that the electrical connections at the school are unsafe.

The department has ordered the school to disconnect the electricity with immediate effect.
An instruction was also issued to the Gauteng Education Department to work with the school management and obtain a new certificate of compliance to fix the electrical connections.
The 20-year failed project by the Gauteng Department of Education, to complete building Tholimfundo Primary School was brought to light by Kaya News on 26 January.
