Integrated Intelligence Operations Centre officers arrested three foreign nationals and charged them with fraud.
An investigation was made after information about the illegal activity was received.
The Johannesburg Metro Police Department’s IIOC officers made the arrests at an Internet Café in Hilbrow, situated along Pretoria and Claim Street.
The three men who were arrested were found making and selling fraudulent documents.
Among the documents found, were South African IDs, Medical Certificates, Bank Proof of Payments, Asylum permits, and Visas.
After the arrests were made, the City of Joburg announced that it is working closely with state enforcement agencies and will not tolerate any criminal activities within the jurisdiction.
