Lungi Naidoo is officially off the market. The ‘Feel Good’ singer is engaged to her partner, Karl Anderson.
She shared the exciting news on Thursday.
“I said YES,” she captioned a picture of herself wearing her engagement ring. The ring features a green stone surrounded by diamonds.
Karl proposed at the Gondwana Game Reserve in the Western Cape.
Several of Lungi’s famous friends, including Nandi Madida and Happygal Ndlovu, congratulated her on the engagement.
“Congratulations beautiful Lungi,” Brenda Mtambo wrote.
Joyous Celebration singer Dudu Tsobane commented: “Congratulations Lungi kwakuhle kwethu.”

Lungi also shared a video taken shortly after Karl proposed. She shared the video on Karl’s birthday on Friday.
“God heard my prayers & He showed up a such a big way. Ngiphakamisela amehlo ami ezintabeni; usizo lwami luvelaphi na? Usizo lwami luvela kuJehova owenzile izulu nomhlaba. Psalms 121,” Lungi wrote.
Who is Lungi Naidoo’s fiancé?
According to his LinkedIn profile, Karl is Apple Music’s head of music in Africa.
Karl is responsible for Apple Music’s expansion on the continent. Since April 2020, Apple has increased its African footprint from 13 countries to more than 37.
Karl has been seen in pictures with artists such as Simphiwe Dana, Janet Jackson and Britney Spears.
Lungi revealed in August that she wrote her song, ‘About You’, for him.
“Through thick and thin, happy and sad, good and super bad times I choose you! I wrote this song about you my Anderson. Ngiyakuthanda mlungu wami,” she wrote on Instagram.

It’s unclear when the couple started dating, but they have shared dozens of pictures of each other since August 2020.
Karl has also met several members of Lungi’s family. They have spent quality time together in Cape Town.
Karl also spent Christmas with Lungi and her daughter in 2020.
Karl can’t stop gushing about Lungi on Instagram.
“I love you & can’t wait for our year ahead,” he wrote on Lungi’s birthday in April this year.
