The Northern Cape Organised Crime Unit confiscated drugs worth approximately R1 million in Kimberly.
A 43-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday, 17 November in Carters Glen.
The SAPS Multi Dimension Organised Crime Unit arrested him for dealing and manufacturing the suspected drugs.
Police confiscated equipment and utensils used to manufacture the drugs says provincial SAPS spokesperson, Captain Sergio Kock.
The equipment and utensils included pots, scales, spoons, ovens, and an assortment of chemicals.
Police also seized refuse bags filled with suspected cocaine, tik and kat.
The breakthrough was commended by Major General Johan Bean, the Frances Baard District Commissioner.
“We will keep on squeezing the space for criminals to operate, as drugs will be one of the focus areas this festive season.”
