EFF leader Julius Malema has taken a jab at other smaller parties such as Action SA for running in this year’s local government elections. Malema says it’s the red berets who are shaking the political landscape. The leader says the EFF has humbled the likes of the ANC in their election campaigning and the support they’ve gained. He said there hasn’t been a single election where they lost a single public representative. He said the EFF had continued on its growth trajectory, gaining seats in every election since it was launched.
“Even when major political parties are declining, the EFF stands firm and grows. The EFF canvasses new ground. The EFF has now demonstrated that it is not a tribalist organisation, [but] a serious national organisation with a national footprint. We are more than ready to govern.”
He even took a jab at Action SA’s leader Herman Mashaba, patronizing the party’s choice to only run in certain metros and not all over the country.
He went on to laugh at Mashaba for funding Action SA from his businesses.
