DJ D Double D is cutting ties with Da L.E.S following an alleged altercation. The producer says he has opened a case against Da L.E.S.
“It is with deep sadness to state that I was indeed an unfortunate victim of assault from Leslie Mampe Jr, commonly known as Da L.E.S,” DJ D Double D wrote in a statement.
DJ D Double D says he will be following the case with “keen interest”. He says he will not be commenting on the matter further.
“I respectfully request some space as I try to find a way to heal both physically and emotionally from this traumatic experience. I have complete faith in our criminal justice system & wish to get the matter resolved,” he concluded.
I would like to confirm that I will be cutting all ties with @2freshLES
I kindly ask everyone to respect my privacy during this tough time. I will continue to work through my own company Mount Blanc Media & would like to assure all my other clients that we continue as normal. pic.twitter.com/H1gADd4PxI

DJ D Double D is a co-host on the ‘Posted with Da L.E.S & Friends’ podcast. Twitter users are shocked that their relationship has turned sour.

“Damn bruh I hate seeing 2 people who were so close just end up as enemies,” Twitter user, @Zuma_Huma, wrote.
Another tweep asked DJ D Double D to retract his statement.
“Please retract this statement and make up with Da Les effective immediately, y’all are best buddies whatever happened, I’m sure can be fixed bro..” @SxndileNgxba tweeted.
But not everyone agreed. Some say DJ D Double D did the right thing by cutting Da L.E.S out of his life.
“Don’t fix anything bro, now that he has laid a hand on you he will do it again…just don’t fix anything move on. He will never respect you.”

Some Twitter users slammed those making fun of the alleged assault.
“It’s sad that abuse is turned into a joke when it involves their friends. Strenght to you Double D and I believe the law will not fail you.”
