Nambitha Ben-Mazwi says a long-awaited dream has been realised after bagging a gig co-hosting an awards show on SuperSport.
“I have officially joined the SuperSport family. And wait for it, for rugby!!!! I am back to sport hosting, as your co-host for the BrightRock Players Choice Awards 2021 happening tomorrow [Thursday, September 23] on SuperSport channel 201 and 211 at 20:00,” she wrote on Instagram.
The actress says hosting has always been her first love.
“Lady Nam was birthed on stage at the FIFA 2010 World Cup as the official MTN host, then New York took over, and back again as the E-Sports ESL Africa championships. The dream was always to host for my favourite sport, rugby and to land on @supersporttv @superrugby.
“Mama, I MADE IT!!!! (My first call was to her and my brother as we are the three family rugby fanatics). All the glory to Jesus,” Nambitha added.

Woman of many talents
Nambitha has been enjoying a successful 2021. She is she an actress, MC, media personality and a business owner.
Nambitha, who has a degree in Business Science Marketing (Honours), owns a company called NambithaBM Media. The company specialises in digital marketing, consulting and production.
The 32-year-old was nominated for a business award in 2019. She was one of five CEOs who were up for the Accenture Rising Star award.
