Menzi Ngubane’s daughter is ensuring that his father’s legacy continues.
The 23-year-old will be running a charity event in honour of her late father’s birthday.
Menzi, who died on 13 March 2021, was born on 28 August and had a tradition of giving to those in need in honour of his birthday.
His daughter has partnered with BrightSpark Foundation SA to continue his legacy.
“On 28 August 2021 the Menzi Foundation, in partnership with BrightSpark Foundation SA, will visit the Ethembeni Children’s Home in celebration of the late South African actor’s birthday. They will be joined by the team from Bomb Shelter Productions,” reads a statement from the foundation.

Siyasanga says: “Giving back to those in need is the most fitting way to honour the memory of her father.”
“This is a special moment for our family and for the foundation as we celebrate my dad’s birthday in the way he would have wished us to do,” she said.
She adds that every year her dad ensured that he gave to needy children.
“Every year my dad ensured that he kept smiles on the faces of those running the home, as well as the kids, ” she said.
The Ethembeni Children’s Home shelters vulnerable children who are HIV positive, abandoned, abused, and neglected. It was opened in 1995.
