In 2020, HypeAuditor conducted a brief research to find out how the TikTok influencer ecosystem looks like in South Africa.
It found that the core TikTok audience in South Africa are female between 13 and 24 years old (43.37%). with a large number of users between 13 and 17 years old (31.3%).
