Speaking to David O’Sullivan during the Breakfast show on Kaya 959, Doctor Van Zyl said being out in the cold does not mean you’ll catch a cold or have flu. She encouraged people to practice good hygiene.
Dr Sindi van Zyl says hand hygiene helps because that’s how a virus will generally spread. Sneezing also is something you need to lookout for. Sneeze into your elbow. Also, stay at home when you sick. That’s the most important thing #BreakfastwithDavid
